Glad Gors Holiday Park is the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you, which is necessary in order to fulfil your agreement to offer your vehicle for sale at our auctions. This includes name, address, email, phone number, vehicle details, payment record and any correspondence received.
- Who collects and processes the personal data.
All the personal data we action is processed by our staff in the UK, however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
- How the information is collected.
We collect the information either over the phone, via email or via direct online input by you.
- Why we need your data.
We need to know your basic personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations and safeguard the safety and security of vehicles, the premises and all its users. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need.
- How will your data be used.
We will use your personal information either to provide you with a service that you requested from us or to comply with our business’ legal requirements
- How secure is your data.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. We may share it with an associated business or a third party who provide us with services or if the law requires us to do so. We shall report any data breaches to you as soon as we know about them.
We will NOT supply the data to third parties for them to use in their marketing.
- How long we store your data.
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 7 years after which time it will be destroyed. We will keep any information that we use for marketing purposes until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

If you have opted in, we may use your name and email address to inform you of any possible future offers. We do not share this information with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website.
- What are your rights.
We shall provide a report showing all information held about you on request and if this information is incorrect, you can have it corrected or deleted if it is lawful to do so.
