Looking for a good event to attend on Anglesey in August? You won’t go far wrong with the Anglesey Agricultural show at the Mona Showground on 9-10th August.
Always a well-attended event, it has something to spark the interest of all members of the family, whatever the ages. From watching equestrian events and the judging of Anglesey’s finest livestock to whirling around on the funfair rides with the wind in your hair.
Our personal favourites are the stalls showcasing local organic and artisanal food producers offering samples of everything from gin to chocolates.
New to the show for this year is Y Cowt, a family entertainment area with activities and music throughout the day and a great selection of bands on Tuesday evening.
Whatever your preferences, you are guaranteed to leave with tired feet and a big smile.
